Residential Care in Congleton | We’re Opening Our Doors!

We’re finally opening our doors!

The long-awaited date for opening the doors to our residential care home in Congleton has been set; Monday, 15th November.

The countdown is officially on and we’re excited to finally welcome our residents.

Opening Our Doors!

Residential Care in Congleton: Opening Our Doors

Nestled in a green residential area and close to the market town’s centre, we’re undertaking the final preparations ready for our official opening. We’ll be offering residential care in Congleton using state-of-the-art equipment and offering the very best in person-centred care.

We have 78 spacious en-suite bedrooms, along with a gastropub, farmers market, cinema, spa, salon, gym, library, private dining room, garden lounge, and GP office. All of these amenities will help to ensure our residents can live a meaningful and independent life under our attentive care.

The Official Opening Event

We’re hosting a celebratory opening day to mark the occasion, where VIP guests will be in attendance to greet our new residents on arrival and conduct the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Rishi Sodha, our Care Director, said: “We are absolutely delighted we now have an official opening date in the diary. All the staff here at Priesty Fields can’t wait to welcome the new residents with open arms and create a truly comfortable and thriving care environment for them, where they can maintain their independence and continue to live fulfilling lives.”

Inside Our Beautiful Home

Residential Care in Congleton: About Our Home

The innovative physical structure of our new home will be tailored to suit the specific needs of people requiring continuous residential care in Congleton. We have luxurious yet comfortable communal areas that encourage independence and stimulate the senses.

Positioning ourselves as an interactive and inviting community hub, our holistic approach will take into account peoples’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. Biophilic ‘living walls’ and natural wood, stone, and glass features will help to enhance mental wellbeing, while our human-centric interior design will provide an authentic and homely atmosphere.

Our home will also be running sustainably; built with a heat recovery system and environmentally friendly lighting for low energy consumption, aligning with the wider environmental objectives of Handsale.

Rishi continued: “We hope the communal areas will provide the perfect environment for stories to be told and friendships to be forged – creating a strong sense of community within the home.

“Our opening day will provide the residents and their families with the perfect opportunity to gain an insight into how we operate at Handsale, and hopefully rest easy in the knowledge that their loved ones will receive the highest quality of person-centered care. We can’t wait for the opening of Priesty Fields. There may also be a surprise or two on the day to mark the much-anticipated occasion.”

Priesty Fields will become the ninth home within our Handsale care group, which runs eight residential and nursing care homes across England, Scotland and Wales. We pride ourselves on empowering our staff to provide outstanding care by putting wellbeing and community at the centre of its operations. Our newest home, Priesty Fields, offering residential care in Congleton, will be the latest in our collection to uphold these values.
